Winchester Model 1890 Third Model Pump Action Rifle, #514078, .22 Short cal., 24'' octagon barrel, straight grip walnut stock, 12-groove forend, crescent steel buttplate, dovetailed front sight, ''V''-notched rear sight missing the elevation screw. Top of barrel and receiver are Winchester proofed. Mfg'd 1914. Rear upper tang screw has been replaced with thru-bolt and nut. Condition is fair. Metal with a combination bare gray metal with a mostly brown patina. Factory lettering is visible, Winchester proofs have worn a little thin. Stock shows age and wear consistent with the metal surfaces, including several scuffs and scratches; forend rates slightly higher. Good action, dark bore shows general spots of surface erosion.
